BrickNote is designed to help users manage property renovation projects, tasks, budgets, expenses, notes and evidence photos. This Privacy Policy explains what information BrickNote uses and how it is handled.
Information We Store
BrickNote may store information you enter into the app, including:
- Property names and addresses
- Project details
- Tasks and reminders
- Budgets, expenses and cost information
- Notes, tags and renovation records
- Evidence photos and attached images
- Location coordinates you choose to add to a property or evidence record
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to share it or your device operating system backs it up using your own device settings.
Photos and Camera
BrickNote may request access to your camera and photo library so you can:
- Capture evidence photos
- Attach images to expenses or records
- Preview and organise renovation images
- Save selected images where supported
Photos and images are used only for the features you choose to use inside the app.
Location Data
BrickNote may request location permission to help:
- Auto-fill property GPS coordinates
- Find or confirm property addresses
- Add location context to evidence records
Location access is used only when needed for app features. BrickNote does not continuously track your location.
Address Search and Geocoding
BrickNote may use third-party location or address lookup services to provide address suggestions or convert addresses into coordinates. For example, address search queries may be sent to services such as OpenStreetMap Nominatim or platform geocoding providers available on your device.
These services may process the address or location query in order to return results.
Notifications
BrickNote may use local notifications to remind you about tasks or deadlines. These reminders are scheduled on your device.
Purchases
BrickNote may offer in-app purchases. Purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. BrickNote does not receive or store your payment card details.
Data Sharing
BrickNote does not sell your personal data.
BrickNote does not include advertising tracking or third-party analytics tracking. Your data may only be shared with third-party services where necessary for app features you choose to use, such as address search, geocoding, App Store purchases or device backup services controlled by your operating system.
Data Storage and Deletion
Most BrickNote data is stored locally on your device. You can delete records, photos, tasks, projects or properties inside the app where those options are provided.
If you delete the app from your device, locally stored app data may also be removed, subject to your device backup and operating system settings.
Children’s Privacy
BrickNote is not intended for children under 13. The app is designed for property owners, renovators, landlords, investors and renovation project managers.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
